Problem with port 80 being in use. I have literally spent days trying to solve this problem, and found that I am not the only one to have come across it. Some suggest closing all anti-virus protectors, and then it should work.
I have done this but maybe I missed one a s I still had no joy. Another suggested solution was to use another computer and hey presto it should allow me to reinstall my 4.3.3 settings which iTunes upgraded to 4.3.5 . I don’t know how I let it happen as I was fully aware of the problem. Tiny Umbrella tells me that the shsh blobs are saved locally and not to bug semaphore. I seem to be going round and round in circles please let me know what to do now . Also am I running out of time? Will Apple stop me jailbreaking my device even if I can restore it to 4.3.3 (8J2) 4.10.01 untethered preferably.
I am presently using a Macbook OSX 10.5.8
