I have an ipod 4G with jailbroken ios 4.3.3 and would like to upgrade to jailbroken iOS 5 without losing my cydia apps or my itunes apps. I was browsing here and heard to use aptbackup to back up cydia apps. Naturally I went to Cydia and downloaded it. The problem is that when I open aptbackup it instantly crashes. I have done everything I know of to get it to book but it won’t. My question is does anyone know how to fix aptbackup from crashing or an alternative I can use ?

There are two alternatives to backing up old jailbreak apps and tweaks . Try xBackup and PkgBackup available on Cydia .
