After Upgrading to 4.2.1 Cannot Exit Recover Mode

I’ve carefully upgraded my iphone 4 (32GB) from IOS version 4.0.1 to 4.2.1 using Tinyumbrella application . Everything went according to instructions posted here except I cannot exit from recovery mode. Nothing happens when i click “Exit Recovery” button.

Then I tried restoring back to 4.0.1 which is also not happening. In Tinyumbrella it shows that I am still on iOS version 4.0.1 and my baseband is 01.59.00. Can some one please tell me what is wrong here ?
