Hello !
As Ray above on May 8th 2012 , I upgraded to iOS 5.1.1 accidentally with stock ipsw from iTunes. I think I tried everything .When I turn my iPhone on, I get stuck on the “Could not Activate iPhone” window. Error message : “your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try…”. I have the new bootrom. Please help me ?

I was running 4.2.1 with 6.15.00 firmware earlier today. I managed to make a custom IPSW with Redsn0w I believe, that let me preserve my baseband but still update to 5.1.1. Well it updated fine but it’s a tethered jailbreak and I was expecting an untethered one like it said it would be. So right now I’m stuck running iOS 5.1.1(9B206) Firm Ware: 06.15.00 and I can’t activate it and . It’s tethered. Does anyone know how I can update to an untethered 5.1.1 ?

You can use Redsn0w 0.9.14b2 for solving this problem .
