I tried to jailbreak my iPhone 4S using the latest available jailbreak tool for i , Absinthe. But i get this error “Absinthe.exe has Stopped Working“. How do I fix this problem . Please help .
Answer : by Eman Ungaro
When you download Absinthe , you need to open both packages data and absinthe.exe as in the zipped folder . Extract them to your desktop and run absinthe.exe in Administrator mode as shown in the How to Jailbreak iPhone 4S tutorial .

I’m trying to jailbreak my iphone 4S with the absinthe tool but it says my attached device is not supported. I do not have ios 5 or 5.0.1 i think ? The phone is locked and there is no sim card . I’ve tried using tiny umbrella but it gives me no info about what firmware or ios is installed. So how do i find the info i need to jailbreak the phone ?
