If you are one of the many who are facing this problem while jailbreaking with Absinthe 5.0 error “This Device is Not Supported” or “Attached device is not supported“, then here is a quick fix for you .

The reason you are getting the problem is because Apple silently released iOS 5.1.1 9B208 build for GSM iPhone 4 . Now since this is a new build , Absinthe 2.0 and Absinthe 2.0.1 did not recognize the device and hence was not able to jailbreak it . Pod2g quickly had a fix for this , and released Absinthe 2.0.2 . Although the latest build had the same exploit , it was not jailbreakable .

Answer :

Download Absinthe 2.0.2 and follow the same exact tutorial as in version 2.0 and 2.0.1 given here .
