I unlocked my phone to t mobile recently and it was working fine , but then out of nowhere it stopped working it just said No Service after upgrading to iOS 5.1.1 Firmware . So i tried unlocking it again and now i cant get past the hitting “accept and waiting 15 sec” part. Because i get NO bars what so ever i waited a whole 10 min and it just says “No Service” so I am not even able to dial 112 what do i do ? i tried everything.

Hi guys , I need some help here as it’s been 2 days now of me struggling with this and it’s seriously starting to drive me insane. I have an iPhone 3gs – old bootrom, 06.15.00 baseband, upgraded to iOS 5.1.1. Jailbroken with Redsn0w 0.9.10b8b followed by ultrasn0w fix and ultrasn0w, rebooted.
For whatever reason it still shows ‘No Service‘. Now, the thing is that if I go to Settings > General > About, it shows the carrier (I tried two different networks and both carriers showed up) and the ICCID number, which makes me believe that it reads the SIM cards correctly. It doesn’t however show any network, all it says is ‘Not Available‘.
The ‘Searching‘ followed by ‘No Service‘ is all I get.
Now, to make it clear – I did open the phone before jailbreaking it as I needed to replace the flex to bring my power button back to life. I was thinking that maybe I accidentally damaged the antenna ? I’ve double checked if it was connected properly as it pops out very easily but it seemed fine and I really don’t know what else could it be as I’m pretty sure I did everything I needed to with the software.
Any suggestions guys ?
