hi i am having a problem fixing somebodies phone and i am at wits end. it is an iphone 3gs with the new jailbreak. it starts up, shows searching (no internet or network) then goes back to the apple over and over again. Will not connect to internet in any way or able to use as a phone. I keep trying to restore and have tried dfu mode with no luck. Keeps saying that the phone cannot be restored. Any advise?

I need to preserve baseband, can i rejailbrake mi iphone 4 without restore with itunes to fix ibooks and without losing my apps.
I believe you can, I did rejailbreak mine without losing my installed apps and saved games.
There is another way if your iPhone is already jail broken with an earlier version of redsn0w, add smolk.myspacerepo.com and search ibookfix2 through Cydia, this fixed the iBooks issue for me
My Iphone4 displays the message Iphone is disabled. If i jailbreak it will it be enabled. I realy need help.
Never heard of that message before, don’t think jail breaking will help! Could try reinstalling software see if that helps
Try putting phone into DFU mode then restore the software, should work after that, you will lose any data
I have tried to reinstall the sotware but the download never completes. I always get errors when the download is about 50% through.Is there any other way to reinstall the software.
see if you have downloaded the IOS that is for the Iphone and not the IOS for the Ipod-Touch but i am afraid i may be wrong. Restore your iphone perhaps and Jialbreak again. Just don’t forget to preserve your baseband first if you need to.

Thanks for the update. This seems to have remedied the battery drain issue from the last update. Now my app sync don’t seem to be workin tho. Anyone else have this happenin?
