@ Paul : the dev team said to wait a week before the greenpoison jailbreak for ios 4.2 is done , and then the unlock … however iphone 3gs and 3g unlock are ready to release …

I can jailbreak using redsn0w 8.6b1 and downgrade baseband to 05.13.4 using fuzzband but could not unlock using ultrasnow?
any comments idea? should i upgrade to 4.2 to unlock?
or what is the best way to unlock under this condition????

i just upgraded to 4.2 and cydia is gone and none of the apps will open. So I have to wait a week before i can jailbreak it again? Thanks for any help.
Hello, If you are so nice I have a comment, My Iphone works as a pre-paid cell phone but since I unlocked it with ultrasnow previous baseband 06.15.00 updated, it recieves SMS and phone calls and it has signal (my cell phone company signal) again BUT WHEN YOU ADD CREDIT TO IT, CONSUMES ALL OF IT RIGHT AWAY I TRY FOUR TIMES. I CALL MY CELL PHONE SERVICE PROVIDER, AND THEY ANSWERED THAT DO NOT HAVE ANY KIND OF EXTRAS FEES AND IT APPEARS THAT ADDED CREDIT WAS CONSUMED EVERY SINGLE TIME, SINCE UNLOCK HAPPENED. DOES SOMEONE HAS A COMMENT ABOUT IT.

Go to your settings, you have applications that are loading themselves every so often. If you have apps like BBC and CNN, check how often they update themselves. I had the same problem, i usually turn my DATA off when not browsing the internet. It has worked for me so far.
Wen I download iPad 4.2 firmware, it doesn’t show up just a bunch of packages, and wen I extract it nothing is there plz help am I doing something wrong. Thanks

You need to rename the .zip extension to .ipsw and then it will work.

First download the firmware in zip. Then, Go to my computer, click on tool, click on folder options, click on view tab, uncheck the hide extension box, click apply and close. Now right click on the firmware in zip file, click on rename and delete the .zip at the end of the file name and add .ipsw
A box will pop up, click “Yes”, then your zip firmware will change to ipsw. I hope this help. Any questions, feel free to post.
