Deleting apps downloaded from Cydia has been a time consuming process ever since . Uninstalling a jailbreak app is a 7 step process which takes you to Start Cydia – Manage – Packages – locate the package – Modify – Remove – Confirm .
With CyDelete jailbreak app you can delete any Cydia Application just like an App Store app . Tap and hold the button until it starts to wiggle [use NoWiggle Jailbreak App to stop the jiggling] . Now click on the cross at top of the icon that you want to delete . This saves you from going through the 7 step lengthy process . Best of all , Cydelete is available for free under the BigBoss Repository .
Few things to note here . CyDelete wont delete apps not downloaded from Cydia , also it wont delete Cydia itself for security reasons . Sometimes it may flag apps as removable , though it cannot be deleted .
How it Works :
If you decide to install this jailbreak app , don’t forget to download and install LockDown . LockDown will protect your apps from accidental deletion while in wiggle mode . Read more about LockDown App here .
