Few days back one of our readers asked How to Change Carrier Logo after jailbreaking their iphone 4 . There are two ways of doing this . One is using MakeItMine Jailbreak App [ How-to Install and Use Tutorial ] and other one is using Fake Operator Jailbreak App . Fake Operator is a Free Jailbreak App that can be downloaded from Cydia under the Big Boss Repository .

MakeItMine is having some issues with iOS 4.2 firmware , so Fake Carrier is the only available option for iphone users having the latest firmware version. In this tutorial I will explain how you can install and use Fake Operator Jailbreak App to tweak the settings and customize the Carrier logo and replace it with logo or text of your choice.

Steps to Install Fake Operator and Change Carrier Logo :

Jailbreak Iphone 4 using RedSn0w Jailbreak Tool.
Launch Cydia and Search Fake Operator . Tap on the result to install
Since there is no icon for Fake Operator Jailbreak app , you have to go to Settings and configure your options as shown in the image below
Tap on the Green Fake Operator Icon and add your custom text as shown in the image below . There is no need to edit plists using iphone browser or use the computer for editing the logo.
