In the last year, Apple has climbed the ladder to success in leaps and bounds and the sky is still the limit for them. According to Gene Munster, Piper Jaffray analyst, famous for making predictions about Apple products, next year will continue in the same vein and will be just as, if not more successful for the company. Gene has predicted the release of several new products for 2013, including the Second Generation iPad Mini Retina Display, iOS 7, an iTunes radio service and a brand new iPhone. However, Mr Munster is not always spot on with his conjectures.
His prediction that Apple iTV would be announced in November of this year and launched early next year were way off kilter, disappointing many people. However, the good news is, the Apple iTV will most likely still be launched in 2013, but not until the latter part. Just in time to hit the Christmas markets and prime selling period of the year.

Don’t expect the Apple iTV to be cheap though. Rumour has it that it will be priced at between $1500 and $2000 dollars, although it will be launched with a range of different screen sizes between 42 and 52 inches. The real beauty of it comes in the fact that yo will be able to use for several different devices. It will be a television, complete with a wide range of unbundled channels. It can be used as a movie player, internet access and a whole range of other things. Also, as standard, it will be equipped with the popular app Face Time, allowing you to use it as a video phone, a very large one at that. And one other feature that will please consumers will be the integration of Siri, the popular intelligent personal assistant that is in use on the iPhone 5. No need for a remote control anymore, just tell Siri what you want to watch, or what you want to do and she’ll be on the case.
