Apple Iphone 4 with Revised Hardware Coming this Month

According to reports , Apple is all set to release an improved version of iPhone 4 with changes made in the antenna system in order to fix the Antenna Gate Issue . The release is expected to be sometime at the end of this month. The news comes from the Director of Mexican carrier Telcal who said that a new version of iPhone 4 will arrive after the Free Case program for iPhone 4 expires on September 30th this year.

hey ppl…this is my first qs here…i wanted to know since the new updat 4.1 will be cumin by next week, n there is no jailbreak for 4.0.2 so when the jailbreak for 4.1 comes out, so does is mean tht its a jailbreak for 4.0.2 also ??
My ip4 wil be cumin next week from U.S which will be with 4.0.2 version…pls give a helpfull reply.
I sure hope they will let us who purchased the phone already to return it and get the latest one with the hardware fix.
Yeah so does this mean we can exchange the ones we have for the new one? My major issue is the damn proximity sensor!!! I am always hitting buttons and hanging up on very important calls.
not sure about the exchange dude. Are you using something like the Zagg protective shield ? that causes problems …. if yours is a genuine issue you can claim a warranty already …
Now as you all discuss about activating, unlocking and jailbreaking the iphone 4g, and i will receive one locked soon from usa and i am living in Egypt ( middle east ), i have an active micro sim from my local provider.
We ( the unexperienced people ) want to have a step by step an accurate explanation, how to do that from the moment we open the device box up to use it with full function.
and also what procedure shall be used first, and the second one and so on.
i think if we have a complete topic about that in one plece. it will reduce a lot of inquiries from people like us in the future.
and it can be supported with the newest news.
