I Just successfully updated my jailbreak (4.1 to 4.3.2), and wanted to share my steps to anyone who needs them.
Install PKGBACKUP from Cydia. To me, it was well worth the $7.99!
Ran backup with PKGBACKUP.
Sync’d to Itunes to backup to computer.
Performed a manual backup in iTunes.
Performed update in ITUNES to 4.3.2
Downloaded and ran redsn0w (latest version)
-followed all directions to the letter-
jailbreak complete.
Selected restore from backup (in iTunes) to put data back.
sync’d iTunes installed apps/data/music, etc.
launched cydia, downloaded PKGBACKUP.
Ran PKGBACKUP, and Restored complete from backup
ALL APPS (iTunes/jailbreak), themes, layout everything, back to pre 4.3.2 update.

Just a question.. did this also backup your saved games?
there is a backup that save you saved games data called “Appbackup” by saurik, problem is that it work with 4.2.1 or less at the moment, they are working their way in fix the problem with 4.3.1, because it just doesnt boot.
Another question: What baseband did you have when you were on jailbreak 4.1 and what is your baseband now on jailbreak 4.3.2?
Jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 on iPhone 4 / iPhone 3Gs / iPod 4G & 3G
You can now jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 untethered as the iPhone Dev Team has now released the Untethered iOS 4.3.2 jailbreak. Credits for the redsn0w software go to iPhone Dev Team and the exploit goes to i0n1c. Just follow the steps below to jailbreak.
NOTE: If you want to unlock your iPhone to use it on another carrier, you should not jailbreak or update to iOS 4.3.2.
Apple also released the iTunes 10.2.2, but you can still jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 untethered so it’s safe to update to iTunes 10.2.2.
This jailbreak is compatible with the following devices:
iPhone 4
iPhone 3GS
iPod touch 4G
iPod touch 3G
iPad 1 – Note: You can’t Jailbreak iPad 2 iOS 4.3.2 Untethered because that uses a different exploit which hasn’t been released yet!
Steps to Jailbreak iOS 4.3.2 Untethered:
1. Download redsn0w 0.9.6 rc14 for Windows or Mac computer. Make sure you update to iOS 4.3.2 if you haven’t already!

2. Download iOS 4.3.2 IPSW software for your device:
iOS 4.3.2 download (iPad)
iOS 4.3.2 download (iPhone 4) (Not yet compatible with iPhone 4)
iOS 4.3.2 download(iPhone 3GS)
iOS 4.3.2 download (iPod touch 4th generation)
iOS 4.3.2 download (iPod touch 3rd generation)
3. Open redsn0w (you may have to open it in XP Compatibility mode — to do that, right-click redsn0w -> Properties -> Compatibility Tab and select Windows XP and click OK), and follow the on screen instructions. Once it’s done you will be jailbroken on iOS 4.3.2 untethered!
Having problems updating to iOS 4.3.2? If you can’t update to iOS 4.3.2 it may be because you have “gs.apple.com” in your HOSTS file, so remove “gs.apple.com” and you should be able to update your device to iOS 4.3.2. Here are the steps on how to do this:
1. Right-click and Run Notepad as administrator
2. File -> Open, and Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers and open the HOSTS file
3. Erase the line that says gs.apple.com
4. Go to File -> Save As- > and for file name make sure it’s HOSTS and for file type make sure you select All files and then click Save.
I heard a lot of PKGBACKUP but is there a cracked version or a free version ?
I was told that it may not work 100%
How is PKGBACKUP different from AptBackup?
PKGbackup and aptbackup both restore your jailbroken apps etc. But i have read that unfortunately you restore with aptbackup and unluckyly it only restore partially, and you wish to re-do the restore, it wont allow it. while as pskbackup you can restore as many times as you want.

OK ive been tryin to jailbreak my phone for weeks now and nothing i seem to do works…i just tried this latest one with the redsnow..i have 4.3.2 firmware…when i download the redsnow i assume im looking for the redsnow.exe file but theres nothing there….and i cant do anything…someone help now…im getting so ## off i just want to jailbreak my phone. it was super ##easy with my old iphone and now this is being completely crazy hard for some reason…help me plz
Redsnow is for Mac thus its extension is .dmg. You should download snowbreeze which is for PC.
You can use Redsnow 0.9.6rc14 for Windows, but make sure you get the file for Windows, not Mac. I’ve been having problems jailbreaking my iPhone 4 with Redsn0w, and I can’t figure out why. (I never had these problems with Greenpois0n or Limera1n.). I’ve downloaded clean copies of all files, tried full/clean restores, followed DFU prompts w/ RS, and put it into DFU before running the exploit. Nothing works, so If you get yours to work, please let me know. Thanks.

Go to Settings –> General –> Network –> Personal Hotspot –> ON/OFF and don’t forget to set ur own Wi-Fi Password for easier access.
I did 4.3.3 jailbreak and I have the same prob. The hotspot setting is completely gone! It,s not in settings and also not in network setting. Help anyone? Should I re-jailbreak?

My phone’s apps are from my friend’s purchased apps of hes itunes then i sync them all in my iphone4, afrer some months ive decided to jailbreak evrtythin is working well, until last night i updated the software to 4.2.3 then i cannot use evry apps any more and my phone suddenly blocked out , its totally off and i cAnt power it on.. Nope, airplane mode just shuts down ur carrier signal and nothing else.

Try to do a clean restore from itunes. It works for my iphone.
I successfully JB my 4.3.2 with red snow. However, the cydia icon is white. I try to boot tethered right now, however it stills in white icon.
Although it is no big deal as i still can use cydia. I still want the icon, any help please!!!
Hello, I’m trying to JB iPhone 4 4.3.2 with Redn0w rc14. The problem I have is that when the phone reboots out of DFU the Downloading JB data logo stays lit on my phone and the Uploading Ramdisk meter hangs at about 3/8 to 1/2 complete. After a long time (10 mins), my iPhone reboots w/o JB, Cydia, etc., and the Uploading Ramdisk is still stuck. I’m running Win 7 Pro x64, iTunes 10.2.2, and have tried putting iPhone in DFU w/ 10-sec method and 3-10-15 method in Redsh0w instructions. Please help. Thanks.
Update: If you have problems jailbreaking iPhone 4 iOS 4.3.2 or 4.3.3 using Redsn0w rc14 or rc15, and your gets stuck on the Uploading Ramdisk screen and reboots unjailbroken after a LONG time, then try these fixes: 1.) Right click Redsn0w.exe and run Troubleshoot Compatibility; choose try Recommended Setting (XP SP2), allow Redsn0w to start, but click Cancel. Then close compatibility test and “Accept Recommended Settings.” 2.) Then, right click on Redsn0w.exe and Run as Administrator. Follow the instructions and your phone will get jailbroken, and you can access Cydia after that.
Hi, I just finally succeeded at jailbreaking my husband’s iPhone 3GS. Wanted to post what my problem was in case it might help anyone else out. Have 3GS with iOS 4.3.2, using redsn0w it would begin to run correctly but rebooted with the apple logo instead of giving me the screen showing the jb being installed. Finally figured outthat there were different versions of the ispw file depending on model and serial number of the iPhone. Once I had the correct file everything worked like a charm. Also, I found putting the phone into dfu mode when redsn0w says to turn it off was easier than trying to get the ting right with the instructions. I hope this helps some other rookie out there. I tried for hours thinking it was my dfu mode timing, when I just had the wrong file all along. Now I see the post says to get the right file for your device but it doesn’t mention there being different ones for 3GS – I thought all files for 4.3.2 were the same.

Hi all, just JB my Iphone 3Gs 4.2.1. I had upgraded it to 4.3.2 and used redsnow to JB. Cydia and installous was installed and running perfectly. BUT now my safari,WhatsApp and certain games app is not working. Any ideas?

So now that 4.3.3 is out, can i still upgrade to this? i’m still on 4.1 and ever since I unlocked my phone using gevey pro, the battery has been draining at a ridiculous rate. Applenberry told me it’s been reported that 4.2 has experienced extreme battery drains with 4.2 So i want to upgrade to 4.3 to see if my OS is the cause of it.
P.S. reason why i want to avoid 4.3.3 for the time being is because after reading the comments for it, it doesn’t seem to be working very smoothly yet.
